Employment
Residence, work permits
Businesses operating abroad usually see the need to send their own staff to manage foreign activities. This raises various issues, in particular with respect to expatriate employment contracts, residence and work permits, and tax. Sound planning from the very outset of a foreign venture will usually avoid unnecessary expense and costly procedures at a later stage.

We will help foreign investors through the complex proceedings to obtain residence and work permits for their expatriate staff, and to set up sound employment arrangements. In addition we will deal with employment arrangements and disputes with local staff.

It should be emphasised that, despite increasing harmonisation, employment, residence and work permit regulations vary considerably from country to country within the European Union.
